池袋の事件に対して思うことは
「好きな女を刺すなよ…」
の一言に尽きる

こういうことがあると本当に気分が下がる
平気で一日二日無駄にしてしまう自分は
本当にまだまだだなと思う

しかし敢えてここでは今後の為にも
極めて非共感的に私の見解を記す

今回のような事件そして
それを取り巻く数多の現象を鑑みるに

モンスターが別のモンスターを産み
そのモンスターがまた
別のモンスターを産んでいるだけ

と感じるし
人々は

自分だけの浅はかな経験に基づいた
感情的な意見を自分の為に述べるだけ

とも思う

合理性を持たない動物としては
実に合理的な営みである

私は今こそ、パスカルに会いたい
「人間は考える葦」
ではなかったのか？
直感で本質を実感できるのは
その自覚があるなしに関わらず
思考を突き詰めたものだけだよ

でもいいのよね人間は
それでもかわいいから
問題はそうしたモンスターが
威力・権力を持ってしまうことにあるんだ
別にそうでなければ
かわいいだけなんだよ

モンスターにモンスター化されず
モンスターを可愛がれねばなるまい
権力はコントロールできない以上
モンスターを減らしていくしかない
それは排除ということでは勿論ない
モンスターを人間に戻してやるってことだ
それにはおそらく愛情しかない
モンスターの根源にあるものは恐怖だ

でも俺も正直
モンスターは怖いんだけどな
俺もまだまだだよ
どうしていいかわからないことが
殆どだわ
この前も正直お手上げすぎて
その場でフリーズするしかなかった
対話不能な相手に対する絶対的な恐怖

コレクティブエフィカシー向上への
道のりはまだまだ遠いね

モンスターはある意味
超・臨場感が高いから
どれだけ小手先の対処法をとったところで
それを圧倒的に上回るクリエイティブを発揮して
乗り越えてくるに違いないんだわな
モンスターと同じくらいの臨場感に立って
考えられるならまた別だけど
モンスター対モンスターの争いが蔓延して
結果として殺伐としか世の中になるよ？

だからどうあがいても
モンスターを産まない構造や
モンスターを人間に戻す構造の方が
圧倒的に重要だと思われる

普通そんなことやるか？
ってことを思いつくのがモンスターで
まさしくCreativityだともいえる
それは別に才能じゃなくて
臨場感が高いからにすぎない
そのCreativeをポジティブな方に使うか
そうでないかの違いは
どこに対して臨場感を持つかという
その選択に過ぎない

そして多くの人は哀しいかな
Avoidance方面に臨場感が高い
ある意味みんなCreativeだといえるのだ

昔に比べると現状は
社会的な精神の病の深刻さに比して
圧倒的に世の中が平和である
つまり、精神の病に取り込まれるくらいに
状況的には極めて余裕がある
と言うことなんだと思うから
すべてが悪いことばかりではないと思うんだよ

少なくとも日本で普通に暮らしていて
突然誰かに狩られるかもしれないような
誰かを殺さないと食糧が得られないような
ほとんどの人はそういう状況ではないし
統計的に見れば人間の暴力性も
下がっているには違いない
野生味がなくなったとも言えるかもしれないが

全てのありとあらゆる個別の事案に対する
万能な対処法なんてあるはずがないので
結局は、コレクティブエフィカシーを
上げていくしかないんだと思うよ
法律や憲法をいじって
どうにかなる話ではないと思う
むしろメンタルケアラーを増やすとか
社会そのものを
愛情あふれた温かいものにしていった方が
結果的に絶対にいいと思うよ

愛というものの偉大さに
高い臨場感をもって信じる
プラクティカルな次元ではなく

つまり無限大に発散すればするほど
結果に思えていたことは
プロセスにしかならないということか
やはり数学は重要だな

ロジカルな直感なんだよ

もっと賛同者が増えてくれたらいいなと思います

“Monsters: The Chain and Creativity”

Regarding the incident in Ikebukuro, my thoughts can be distilled into a single sentence:
“Don’t go stabbing the woman you love…”
When things like this happen, it truly brings me down.
I find myself wasting a day or two in a funk, which only reminds me how much further I have to go as a person.
However, for the sake of the future, I will dare to record my views here
from a strictly non-empathetic perspective.
When I look at this incident and the countless phenomena surrounding it,
I feel that it is simply a case of
monsters giving birth to monsters,
who in turn give birth to more monsters.
And I feel that people
are merely stating emotional opinions based on their own shallow experiences,
ultimately just for their own sake.
For animals lacking in rationality,
it is, in fact, a very rational way of operating.
It is now that I want to meet Pascal.
Was man not a “thinking reed”?
To be able to grasp the essence through intuition—
is a privilege reserved only for those who have pushed their thinking to the limit,
whether they are conscious of doing so or not.
But humans are fine as they are,
because they are still “cute” in their own way.
The problem arises when such monsters
acquire power or authority.
If they didn’t have that,
they would just be “cute” (in their pathetic human way).
We must avoid being turned into monsters by monsters;
we must learn to treat the monster with affection.
Since we cannot control “power,”
our only choice is to reduce the number of monsters.
This does not mean exclusion, of course.
It means returning the monster to a human state.
The only way to achieve that is likely through love.
The root of a monster is fear.
To be honest, though,
monsters scare me too.
I’m still not there yet.
Most of the time, I have no idea what to do.
Just the other day, I was so overwhelmed that
I had no choice but to freeze on the spot.
An absolute terror toward an opponent with whom dialogue is impossible.
The road to improving Collective Efficacy is still very long.
In a sense, monsters possess an extreme “sense of reality.”
No matter what superficial countermeasures you take,
they will surely find a way to overcome them
by exercising a level of creativity that far exceeds expectations.
It might be different if one could stand within the same “reality” as the monster,
but a struggle of monster vs. monster would only result in a desolate world.
Therefore, no matter how hard we struggle,
the structures that prevent the creation of monsters,
or the structures that turn monsters back into humans,
are overwhelmingly more important.
Thinking of things that a “normal” person would never do—
that is exactly what a monster does, and it can be called Creativity.
This isn’t necessarily a talent;
it’s simply because their internal reality is so vivid.
Whether that Creativity is used for something positive or not
is merely a choice of where one focuses that sense of reality.
And sadly, many people
have a high sense of reality regarding “Avoidance.”
In that sense, everyone is “creative.”
Compared to the past,
the world today is overwhelmingly peaceful
relative to the severity of our social mental illnesses.
In other words, we have enough leeway in our circumstances
to be consumed by mental illness.
I don’t think everything is entirely bad.
Most people living ordinary lives in Japan
are not in a situation where they might suddenly be hunted,
or where they must kill someone to get food.
Statistically speaking, human violence
is undoubtedly decreasing.
You could say we’ve lost our “wildness,” perhaps.
There is no such thing as a universal remedy
for every single individual case.
In the end, I believe we have no choice
but to raise our Collective Efficacy.
I don’t think this is something that can be fixed
by tinkering with laws or the constitution.
Instead, I believe it would be infinitely better
to increase the number of “mental carers”
and make society itself a warm place filled with affection.
To believe in the greatness of love
with a high sense of reality—
not on a “practical” level.
In other words, the more things diverge toward infinity,
the more what seemed like a “result”
becomes nothing more than a “process.”
As I thought, mathematics is important.
It is a logical intuition.
I hope that more people will come to agree with this.
